Aruba, served by a Michelin-starred kitchen.

Terra is led by Chef Jeremy Ford. He's not a licensed name on a menu. He shaped the concept, designed the menu, and trained the kitchen team. Set inside Bucuti & Tara on Eagle Beach, it's the first Caribbean restaurant led by a chef who holds both a Michelin Star and a Michelin Green Star.

The Dining Room

Handcrafted warmth, steps from the sea.

Wooden furniture built by hand. Low light. Tables spaced so you can actually hear the person across from you. The interior was put together in Aruba by Coastal Crafters, with a color palette drawn from sand and soil. That's the meaning behind the name.

It's designed for long dinners, not quick turns. Come hungry and plan to stay a while.

Seasonal ingredients, proper technique, no shortcuts. The bar program runs on the same philosophy as Jeremy's kitchen. Local when it makes sense, precise always.

The Chef

Jeremy Ford.

The first chef to bring a Michelin-starred table to Aruba.

Jeremy Ford won Bravo's Top Chef Season 13 and went on to open Stubborn Seed in Miami Beach in 2017. The restaurant has held a Michelin Star every year from 2022 through 2025, and earned a Michelin Green Star in 2025 for its sustainability work.

His portfolio includes The Butcher's Club at PGA National Resort & Spa, Salt & Ash in the Florida Keys, and Ford's Farm in Homestead, a working farm and event space he runs himself. He's a two-time James Beard Foundation Best Chef: South semifinalist and co-hosted TruTV's Fast Foodies.

Terra is his first project in the Caribbean, a partnership with Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort. He's on the island often, working the line, training the team, and eating with his family on Eagle Beach like he has been for years.

Meet the Team

The people behind Terra.

Terra is led by Chef Jeremy Ford and run every night by a team of Aruban and internationally-trained chefs, sommeliers, and front-of-house.

Jeremy Ford

Winner of Top Chef Season 13 and chef-owner of the Michelin-starred Stubborn Seed in Miami. Jeremy leads the kitchen at Terra. The concept, the menu, and the team are built under his direction.

Executive Chef

Jeanclaude Werleman

Born and raised in Aruba. Started in his grandmother's kitchen, trained under Chef Urvin Croes, and now runs the Terra kitchen day-to-day under Jeremy's direction.

Chef de Cuisine

Moises Ramirez

Trained in the Netherlands under Michelin-starred chefs before returning to the Caribbean. At Terra, he leads the line alongside Jeanclaude.

General Manager & Sommelier

Jessika Theysen

Five years in Aruba's hospitality industry and a working sommelier. Jessika runs the floor and the wine list, and she's usually the one who'll talk you into the right pairing.
